How Laser Removal
Works
Laser energy targets and breaks down PMU pigment particles beneath the skin. Your body's natural immune system then gradually flushes the fragmented pigment away, lightening the old work over a series of sessions. Laser removal at Microblading LA is performed by a nurse practitioner.
After Each Session
Your skin heals within a few days, but sessions are spaced 6–8 weeks apart. Follow these steps for the best results.
Keep It Clean
Gently cleanse the treated area with mild soap and lukewarm water. Pat dry — never rub.
Avoid Sun Exposure
Stay out of direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks. Use SPF 30+ sunscreen on the area once healed.
Don’t Pick or Scratch
The area may scab or flake as it heals. Let it shed naturally — picking can cause scarring.
Skip Harsh Products
No retinol, AHAs, glycolic acid, or exfoliants on the treated area until fully healed.
Expect Some Redness
Mild redness, swelling, and tenderness are completely normal and typically fade within a few days.
Wait Between Sessions
Sessions are spaced 6–8 weeks apart to allow your skin to fully heal and your body to clear the fragmented pigment.
